Grant Rochelle was born in Stoke On Trent, England. He settled in Portland, Oregon USA in 2005 where he lives with his wife Nancy and daughter Amelia.

After a career spent in software technology, his second act is as a writer. In addition to authoring essays, a recent trek in Nepal is the basis for an upcoming travel memoir, and comedy-drama screenplay inspired by the same experience.
